Decree of the Ministry of Regional Development No. 376/2021 Coll., amending Decree No. 269/2015 Coll., on the calculation of heating costs and the joint preparation of hot water for the house is the result of the transposition of the European Directive 2018/2002 into the national legal order. The decree amends and expands some of the obligations of providers (for example, house owners or associations of unit owners), and also introduces a new obligation to include in the bill a graphic comparison of the determined heat consumption with the previous year. Last but not least, the billing requirements regarding energy efficiency and thermal energy are changed.

The decree was announced on 18. 10. 2021 and became effective (with exceptions) on 2. 11. 2021.
